The Winter Wings Festival, produced by the Klamath Basin Audubon Society, is one of the longest running bird festivals in the nation. Explore the Klamath Basin of southern Oregon and northern California, a major migratory stop on the Pacific Flyway and host to the largest congregation of wintering bald eagles in the lower 48 states. Keynote participants for the 2013 festival include photographer George Lepp, birder and photographer Kevin Karlson, and naturalist Alvaro Jaramillo. As always, we'll also have lots of guided field trips, birding and photography workshops, free family activities, and wonderful receptions.
For more information, see www.WinterWingsFest.org, contact the registrar at 877-541-BIRD, or email info@winterwingsfest.org. |
