River Action Arts will be an interactive event of American River inspired music, poetry, photography, watercolor painting and raku ceramics. The community is invited to take an evening to reconnect with the Sierra Nevada's American River Wilderness. Explore the beauty and complexity of the natural world that renews our spirits, provides peace and solitude, presents physical challenges and increases our understanding of our world. Local artists participating include Juan Pena, watercolorist; Dan DiDicco, Loping Wolf Cedar Flute Ensemble; Brian Hassett, Poetry; Gary Hughes, digital photographer; and Eric Peach, ceramic. Each artist will offer interactive presentations of their recent works that interpret their American River experiences. Join in the creative process with these artists and learn more about the American River! For more details call (530) 885-5670, or visit PlacerArts.org.
